Sydney quartet New Empire seem to have a taste for touring. They’re preparing to head out on the road to support Simple Plan, and they’ve just announced they’ll embark on a headline tour once that wraps up.
The band are working hard to support the release of their new album Symmetry, which will hit stores on September 16. Their frontman Jeremy Fowler promises a tour like no other they’ve undertaken.
“For us, it feels like the live showcase of everything we’ve been working towards for the past two years,” he explained. “We’ll be pulling out everything we’ve got for this tour, it’ll be full of surprises, it will be … epic!”

Just a question. I’m from Caboolture, but I haven’t heard of the “Centenary Lakes Festival” that is being hosted. What is it? Or is there a website that can tell me?
Also, is it 18+ or an all ages event on the 14/10/2011?

Thanks for that Benjamin – I was attempting to chase up an answer for Chloe but it looks like you’ve beat me to it!

Hi Chloe – I’ve got a little more information now. The festival at Centenary Lakes is for Beat the Street – Wipe Out Youth Homelessness. It’s a free outdoor thing, all ages, there’s a bit more info at this website: http://lccqld.org.au/community-services-youth-support-caboolture. The Brisbane show is also all ages, so plenty of chances for you to catch the band in the flesh!
