Selahphonic Drops Infectious Single and EP

I love grey, gloomy weather, but I must admit that the weeks of relentless rain in New South Wales are even starting to take their toll on me. If you need to bust those bad weather blues, take a listen to the summery electro-pop sounds of Selahphonic’s single “Had Our Heaven.”

The shimmery track comes from the Sunshine Coast band’s debut EP Therapy. With its retro synth sounds and singalong chorus, just see if you won’t be humming this song for the next week. It’s just that catchy. If you like it, make sure you head to Selahphonic’s website, where you can download it for free for a limited time.

Selahphonic will introduce fans to their EP with the following East Coast shows in April.

8 April 2017 – Sol Bar, Sunshine Coast
13 April 2017 – Rare Finds @ Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane
27 April 2017 – Brighton Up Bar, Sydney
28 April 2017 – Beach Hotel, Byron Bay

Selahphonic’s New DIY Clip a Real Charmer

After a few days off last week catching up with my best friend visiting from Brisbane, I’m finding making it through this Monday particularly challenging. I’m procrastinating, taking far too long to do basic tasks, and relying a little too much on Coca-Cola. If Monday’s kicking your but too, than “Easy,” the new single from Sunshine Coast indie pop act Selahphonic is bound to strike a chord.

The cheerful ditty about perseverance is thoroughly charming and the perfect match for the adorable clip. It was a DIY job made on a shoestring on the streets of Fortitude Valley. I don’t want to give away spoilers. Just watch it!

Selahphonic Release Killer Track “Ghosts of 1999”

Hump Days are never easy, but when you’re battling a cold as I am pushing through a work day is that much harder. If you’re struggling today, take a moment to press play and let the feel-good power-pop vibes of “Ghosts of 1999.”

The track comes from Sunshine Coast indie-rock act Selahphonic, who’ve spend the better part of 2015 touring Australia and the United States. All that experience is paying off, because they’re sounding like they’ve got years of experience under their belt. It’s polished without feeling bland. At this relatively early stage in their career I can already imagine them selling out stadiums.

See Selahphonic before they blow up at the following single launch shows.

15 April 2016 – The Foundry, Brisbane
30 April 2016 – Moonshine, Manly
6 May 2016 – The Helm, Sunshine Coast
11 June 2016 – Sea N’ Sound Festival, Mooloolaba
