Sydney electro-rock five-piece Danimals have been revealed as the winner’s of the Tooheys Extra Dry: The Lab competition.
The lucky band are currently in New York working with Mark Ronson, Santigold, Nick Hodgson of Kaiser Chiefs, Sean Lennon, John Taylor of Duran Duran, and members of the Dap Kings. Doesn’t sound bad, does it? The band will return home with a brand spanking new track which will become the soundtrack of next year’s Tooheys Extra Dry ad campaign. Footage from their dream music holiday will also be released as a documentary next March.
“We’re having a pretty hard time picking up what’s left of our minds after being selected by Mark Ronson for The Lab in New York – we’re incredibly ecstatic beyond belief! It’s completely surreal and incredibly scary to be honest!” said Danimals mastermind Jonti Danilewitz.
