Children Collide Looking For Love on “Loveless” Tour

Children Collide are bidding a fond farewell to their album Theory of Everything with the Loveless tour, a run of dates which celebrates the final single from the epic disc.

The song has made a massive impact since its online release last week, helped in no small part by this David Michod directed film clip. He’s the man behind Animal Kingdom, and this vid is every bit as unsettling as that Aussie crime flick.

Nine Sons of Dan Tour “She’s So Fine”

Queensland’s Nine Sons of Dan are hitting the road in support of their brand new single “She’s So Fine.”

It’s not a cover of The Easybeats classic, but the song’s still immensely catchy. It was inspired by high school crushes, and specifically the way singer Jay Bainbridge fell hard for a girl he spotted at the Soundwave festival. No words were exchanged, but when he went home and hugged a pillow pretending it was her he knew he had to capture the insanity of such instant attraction. It’s the second single from the band’s debut album Landslide (which incidentally has nothing to do with Fleetwood Mac).

The band typically sticks to home state shows, so this tour is a bit of a treat for New South Wales and Victorian audiences. Tickets are on sale from the venues for the following gigs.

The Panda Band Give “The Fix” For Free

It’s been a long time between drinks for The Panda Band. The playfully named Perth indie rockers haven’t been heard around these parts since releasing “Sleeping Little Death Toll Town” way back in 2005.

The album won’t hit stores until July 15, but The Panda Band are giving us a little taste now. Head to their Bandcamp page for a free download of “The Fix,” a swirling psychedelic inspired number that sounds better with each listen.

Neil Finn Tours New Pajama Club

Neil Finn’s latest musical venture is a family affair. He’s teamed up with his wife of 29 years Sharon to create Pajama Club. The idea was born over many nights spent jamming in PJs with a few good wines. Of course only brilliance can come from such laid back beginnings!

Neil and Sharon are joined in the band by Kiwi singer-songwriter Sean Donnelly and Alana Skyring, who you might remember from The Grates. They’ve laid down an album, which will be released digitally, on CD, and on vinyl in August.

Before that though, you can have a little taste with “From A Friend To a Friend,” which is available for free download from the Pajama Club website. If you like what you hear make sure you get out and see the band on their very first tour in June.
