Zara Haines Keeps it Real With “Common Ground”

Zara Haines is showing us her softer side with the release of her latest single, “Common Ground.” It’s a real change of pace from her previous high-energy song “It’s Chemical,” with cutting lyrics that directly address a cheating partner.

“This song is one I was so proud to write, and really shares my love of songwriting to the world,” Zara said. While the lyrics are superb, the vocals also impressed me. Zara isn’t afraid to be vulnerable here. You can hear the emotion behind every word she sings. The pop production is strong but a little stripped back to make sure you catch every line.

“Common Ground” comes from Zara’s forthcoming EP.

Zara Haines Continues to Impress With “It’s Chemical”

After showcasing a more stripped-back sound with “Freight Train,” Zara Haines is back with a new upbeat single called “It’s Chemical.” This track is everything you want in a pop song, from Zara’s killer vocals to its ultra-catchy melody.

“It’s been my favourite song to record so far,” Zara enthused. “This track marks a new chapter for me creatively. It’s playful, personal, and taps into that moment in your 20s when you stop taking everything so seriously, and just let life happen.”

“It’s Chemical” comes from Zara’s debut EP, Bad Decisions, which we’ll hear later this year.

Zara Haines Releases Beautiful New Single, “Freight Train”

After wowing me with her pop-rock anthem “the blonde” and its ultra-catchy follow-up “6 Figure Trigger,” Zara Haines is showing a new side of her artistry with her latest single, “Freight Train.” While that title suggests a bold release, this is a gentle, stripped-back folk-pop song. Its acoustic sound helps me appreciate Zara’s gorgeous voice and relatable, introspective lyrics.

“I’m beyond proud to share ‘Freight Train’ with the world,” Zara said. “It tells a story close to my heart, about being overlooked and underappreciated—something I think a lot of people my age can relate to. I hope it brings others the kind of healing it brought me.”

“Freight Train” gives us our first taste of Zara’s EP, which she’ll release later this year.

Zara Haines Drops Sensational New Pop Single “6 Figure Trigger”

After impressing me earlier this year with “The Blonde,” Zara Haines shows that was no fluke. Her latest release “6 Figure Trigger” is another outstanding pop song. This catchy little number explores all the complications of the dating game. Whether you’re in it or glad to be done with the scene, I know you’re going to relate to this one.

“’6 Figure Trigger’ was written for all different people to relate to … with a fun and catchy side, people can’t help but sing along!” Zara enthused. “It has been a fan favourite in listening sessions, so it was about time we let the world hear it!”

Zara’s Instagram profile says she’s writing new music right now, so it sounds like there’s a lot more in store. Give her a follow to learn all about it once it drops.

Zara Haines Releases Girl Power Anthem, “the blonde”

Zara Haines has just released her new pop-rock anthem, “the blonde,” and I know it’s going to strike a chord with anyone who’s relished moving on after a bad relationship. At a time when Australia isn’t producing nearly enough great pop music, this one feels like a breath of fresh air.

“I wanted ‘the blonde’ to feel like a crime scene, telling the story of the demise of a relationship and the fiery revenge stage we all feel,” Zara explained. “It’s a song that allows you to let out all those pent-up emotions and just have a good time.”

If you love this track, you’re in luck. Zara tells me you’ll be hearing a lot more from here in 2024. Follow her socials to make sure you hear all about those new releases first.
