Ella & Sienna Impress With “Taxi”

Sibling duo Ella & Sienna take their sound to the next level on their latest pop single, “Taxi.” The song showcases the harmonies that encouraged Rita Ora to turn her chair on season 11 of The Voice Australia, along with some incredibly sophisticated songwriting. It’s super catchy, as all good pop songs should be, but it’s also got real heart.

“Our newest single ‘Taxi’ is a dynamic coming-of-age track about the pains of growing apart from who you used to be and learning to let go,” the sisters explained. “’Taxi’ is a breakup anthem that encapsulates feelings of love, heartbreak, self-worth, and acceptance of moving into a new phase of life.”

“Taxi” is the latest addition to my Spotify playlist, Sounds of Oz Loves Pop. If you do too, make sure you give it a follow!

Ella & Sienna Drop “New Year’s Kiss”

The dust is just settling on Christmas, so it’s time to look ahead to New Years. Tarntanya/Adelaide sister act Ella & Sienna have released the perfect song for the season, “New Year’s Kiss.” I remember being impressed by the duo on The Voice last year, but they’ve matured so much since that time. They’ve still got those exquisite harmonies I fell in love with, but there’s a bit more depth and wisdom to what they do nowadays.

This single is the perfect farewell to 2023 which makes me pretty excited about what Ella & Sienna may have in store for us in 2024.

Ella & Sienna Impress With “Next to Mine”

Ella & Sienna are teen sisters from the Adelaide Hills destined for big things. Their beautiful harmonies and songwriting skills are on show with the release of their new single “Next to Mine.” If you love the blend of country-pop music and heartfelt lyrics that typified Taylor Swift’s early music, this will be right up your alley.

“’Next To Mine’ was written during the first pandemic lockdown in 2020. I wanted to create an energetic, up-tempo reflection of our love and care for family and friends,” Sienna explained.

“We were inspired by the shared feeling of heartache and longing to be close to loved ones through the uncertain and devastating times,” added Ella.

Underestimate this talented twosome at your peril. They write their own music, sing like angels, and play their own instruments (Ella’s on guitar while Sienna takes bass). See for yourself what they can do at one of the following shows:

26-27 March 2022 – 2022 Country by the River @ Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge
3-4 December 2022 – 2022 Mornington Country Music Festival @ The Briars, Mount Martha
