Ghost Care Release “So Long” Ahead of WA Shows

Western Australia’s Ghost Care are set for a massive month following the recent release of their new single “So Long.” They’ll launch the single with a headline show before rounding out the month supporting Ball Park Music at their sold-out shows in Walyalup/Fremantle.

Frontman Beau Torrance said “[‘So Long’] is about being with someone who is clueless to the fact that it’s over, and won’t acknowledge that they are not right for each other. It’s a song where you can say goodbye and good riddance with a bit of attitude – a good one for those people who maybe have ended a relationship, and want to move forward from the sad phase into the acceptance phase. We had a lot of fun bringing this one together in the studio.”

Western Australia, Ghost Care will treat you to the following shows this month. Hopefully they don’t leave fans on the East Coast hanging for too long!

9 May 2026 – The Bird, Boorloo/Perth (with special guests Blush and Clare Perrott)
29 May 2026 – Freo Social, Walyalup/Fremantle (SOLD OUT – supporting Ball Park Music)
30 May 2026 – Freo Social, Walyalup/Fremantle (SOLD OUT – supporting Ball Park Music)

Get Hooked on “So Long” by The Addictions

Prepare to discover your next song obsession. The upbeat grooves of “So Long,” by Naarm/Melbourne jazz fusion act The Addictions, are exactly what you need to kickstart your Monday. It starts out subtle but it’s a party by the time the chorus kicks in. While it’s such a vibe, the lyrics reveal an emotional depth.

“So Long’ embarks the listener on a journey through grief and acceptance all whilst disguising itself with bright tones and upbeat instrumentation,” explained vocalist Ben Pucci.

“So Long” comes from The Addictions’ highly anticipated third studio album Have a Seat, which drops later this year.

Liz Martin Wants Us to Dance a Little, Live a Little

Sydney’s Liz Martin charms with her jaunty new single “So Long,” the latest cut from her brand new album Dance a Little, Live a Little.

I love the track’s playfulness and Liz’s husky vocals. It’s pop music with a hard attitude that’s so compelling. The album promises more of that alongside some moving ballads and whimsical instrumental numbers.

It’s a little strange that this song is so much fun, because Liz wrote the album while recovering from hip surgery. When you’re bedbound for five months, what else is a musician to do but create? It would have been easy to pour her pain into the record, but instead Liz opted to create songs filled with joy and good humor.

Now that she’s back on her feet, Liz is taking Dance a Little, Live a Little on the road with an all-star band featuring Elana Stone and Jacqueline Amidy. Catch Liz at the following shows:
